Fuse Foam 15 oz
Active Ingredients: Fipronil..........0.005%
Fuse Foam is a Combination Chemistry product that utilizes both Fipronil and Imidacloprid in a ready-to-use, expanding foam. Fuse Foam gives pest control operators the opportunity to begin treating a structure for termites immediately, right on the sales call; then schedule the full treatment for later. Fuse Foam could be the most important tool in the toolbox when it comes to stopping termites and ants, and preventing their spread inside a structure.
What do Fipronil and Imidacloprid do?
Fipronil is a broad spectrum insecticide. Fipronil disrupts the responses of the central nervous system, causing hyperexcitation (excessive excitation, overstimulation).
Imidacloprid disrupts the ability to send a normal signal within the nervous system. This causes the nervous system to stop working properly, leading to death.
- Ready-to-use foam combining two major active ingredients. Both ingredients are non-repellent and are ready for direct injection in areas where listed pests (termites, carpenter ants, etc.) have infested.
- For indoor and outdoor spot and crack and crevice treatments.
- When Fuse Foam is sprayed, the product rapidly expands generating a dry foam with an expansion ration of 30:1, with 1 oz of product being dispensed in approximately 5 seconds producing approximately 1 quart of foam.
- Pests controlled: Termites (including subterranean, drywood, dampwood and arboreal), wood destroying insects (powder post beetles, old house borer, wharf borer, anobiid or deathwatch beetle, false powder post beetle, or ambrosia or bark beetles), ants (including argentine, ghost, white-footed, foraging carpenter), carpenter bees, asian lady beetles, boxelder bugs, cluster flies, elm leaf beetles, bean plataspids (including kudzu bug), brown marmorated stink bug.
How to Apply
Shake well before using. Hold can upright. Point away from face. Use this product as a spot and crack and crevice treatment and apply sufficient foam to treat the known or suspected insect harborages. After applying Fuse Foam, hold the injector tip in place for approximately 8 seconds to allow the product within the injector tube to dispense into the treatment area. Drilling holes may be required to access the known or suspected gallery, harborage or void. Drill holes at 1 or more locations along the gallery, harborage or void for proper treatment. Use of a moisture meter may help to determine the spread of a treatment. Slowly press trigger to dispense foam. To minimize run-off, continue to hold the tip firmly against injection point for 8 seconds after releasing the trigger; this will allow product in the application hose to fully expand and enter the target area. Spot treatments with this product can be made, as a temporary control measure, in advance of the date when final treatment of the structure with soil and foundation treatments is completed.
